A 1/2 hour radio interview aired with Sherri Lee Stevens from the morning show of Y100
and our Coordinator Stan Kurtz. Topics included; teen stress, depression, violence in the schools, what
things can be done to help our communities teens, teens, etc. Our thanks to Sherri Lee for her interest and support in our program.
Thursday - June 27
The teen council and teen committee had meetings this evening. 22 teens attended the meetings. Each of
the attendees committed to the upcoming September training and joined one (or more) of our 7
committees.
Wednesday - June 12
Our Community Education Program visited Haddon Heights High School. Barbara,
Donna, Sue, and Stan represented the TeenLine presenting to all of the Freshman Class.
Friday - June 4th and 7th
Our Community Education Program visited Eastern Regional High School. Stan
represented the Teenline presenting to the entire Junior Student body.
June 5th
The first meeting of our teen committee happened today. Four core teens gave us feedback about the
direction of the TeenLine which included; training dates and times, publicity, operating
hours, etc.
May 23rd

Our Community Education Program visited Cherry Hill East and presented to the entire
Senior Student body.
April 26th
Our Community Education Program visited Cherry Hill East's elective Psyc. program.

Council meeting - One of our first meetings. Our council presently includes 16 professional representatives from groups such as; The AIDS Coalition of SNJ, CPAC (for child protection), J.F.K. Hospital - Adolescent Center,
and Division for the Children. Some of our members are educators from local schools including, Woodrow Wilson High School, Berlin Community School, and Collingswood Middle School.
