|ENOCH (Education Network of Christian Homeschoolers) of New Jersey is a organization which consists of like-minded Christians dedicated to observe the Biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-10, Proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4. We promote home education as the scriptural design for education, whereas institutional education is the alternative to the home. We believe that every family has the God-given, legal and constitutional right to home education in the state of New Jersey, regardless of their philosophy of education or religious affilation. We provide service to all who contact us the best we can|
Alternative is a diverse secular support group for homeschooling
families with children primarily 10 years and under although older siblings
are welcome, too, and we have several in the 11 and 12 year range. Our members
homeschool for many different reasons including academic, religious, philosophical
and medical. Families experiencing special circumstances such as chronic
illnesses, learning differences, developmentally-delayed special needs children,
etc., are encouraged to join. The purpose of this group is to provide social/emotional/educational
support for parents and social/play time for children. Discussions, trips
and special activities are planned throughout the year. A resources lending
library is offered. Regular meetings are held in Medford, NJ, on the 1st
and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 2 pm. We also meet when 5th Thursdays
occur. FreedomQuest also offers a Statewide Out Reach group for Home Schoolers
with Special Needs. For more informationabout this group, please contact
